Musicians United to Sustain the Environment (M.U.S.E.)
Founded by musicians Walkin' Jim Stoltz and Craig Wagner, M.U.S.E. is a non-profit environmental organization with two primary goals. First, to raise funds for effective grassroots environmental projects through CD sales, concerts, and public donations. Secondly, to heighten environmental awareness through music. Particularly interested in efforts to protect endangered or threatened species and preserve existing wilderness habitats.

Endangered Species Coalition

As the guardian of the Endangered Species Act, the Coalition (ESC) speaks on endangered species issues for some 360 environmental, conservation, religious, scientific, humane, sporting and business groups around the country. They exist not only to defend and protect this effective law, but also to ensure that this vision becomes a reality.

"Dedicated to protecting imperiled and other predatory species as an ecological rallying point for ecosystem protection."

The folks at Predator Conservation Alliance are doing a whole lot with very scant financial resources. They recognize the importance of predators in any healthy ecosystem, and are doing their best through research, monitoring, advocacy, and public education efforts to shed some light on the whole issue of predators. Great folks!

Bluewater Network

Bluewater Network, a project of Earth Island Institute, is a coalition of scientists, concerned citizens, industry experts, and clean water advocates working to reduce the environmental impacts of vehicles, vessels, and craft.

American Wildlands

American Wildlands' mission is "to promote, protect and restore biodiversity and sustainable management of the Northern Rockies' wildlands and wildlife. They're doing a great job with limited resources and could use your help.

Montana Wilderness Association
Protecting Montana’s wilderness heritage, quiet beauty, and outdoor traditions, now and for future generations. Walkin’ Jim is a lifetime member of this organization.

Friends of Nevada Wilderness

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is a wilderness education and advocacy group that strives to keep Nevada's wild places wild. Walkin’ Jim is member and is very impressed by the great job these folks continue to do. They’re gaining more wilderness protection with each passing year!!
